Helen Alfredsson

Helen Christine Alfredsson, born on April 9, 1965, is a Swedish professional golfer who turned professional in 1989 and has achieved the status of lifetime member of the Ladies European Tour.

She primarily played on the LPGA Tour from 1992, and in September 2013, she officially announced her retirement from the LPGA Tour. She has won 30 times around the world, including the prestigious Major championship Nabisco Dinah Shore in 1993, as well as two major championships, the US Senior Open and the US LPGA Championship, in 2019.

She was a member of the European Solheim Cup team eight times, in 1990, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, and 2009, and served as the captain in 2007.
